The first ship in my Sorylian fleet from the Firestorm Armada. This particular one is a Scythe Class Frigate, one of the smaller ships in the fleet.
I like how the colors and shading turned out, but I think the highlighting could be a bit more distinct.
From another angle:
Ryan, Phil and I had picked up a starter set of Firestorm Armada early this spring, but we never got around to playing until today. We spent about 4 hours learning the rules and playing a three way game.
I was playing my Sorylian Collective fleet, Ryan was playing the Dendrenzi Federation, and Phil was playing Terran. In deployment I ended up in the corner between Ryan and Phil. Because of this, both of them were gunning for me. Luckily my broadside firepower was able to make a dent in both of them, but in the end it wasn’t enough. I was eliminated first, and then Phil went on to finish Ryan off.
It was a good time, and nice to finally play the game.
